Kicking off the Bettendorf Public Library's 2008-2009 Brown Bag Lunch Series on September 12 will be a performance of Chinese classical and folk music on cello, violin, and flute by Tom Cao, Kevin Li and Kelsey Qu. This performance is also part of the library's Global Gathering China programming offered during the months of September and October. The Friends of the Library sponsor the Brown Bag series. All performances are 30 minutes from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the Bettendorf Room on the second floor of the library at 2950 Learning Campus Drive.
The series is free and open to all ages. Attendees are invited to bring lunch, relax and enjoy regional musicians. The library provides free coffee from Dewey's Café.
