Library Facility and Services Updates

On May 20, the Library suffered water damage as a result of a broken water pipe.  Thanks to the efforts of City and Library staff, the Library reopened with normal hours on Tuesday, May 31. 

All library service areas, main entrance, lobby, and meeting rooms at the Bettendorf Public Library Information Center will officially reopened to the public on Monday, November 7, 2016.

A ribbon cutting event celebrating the completion of the library’s recent renovation project and reopening took place at the library’s main entrance and lobby at 10:00-10:30 a.m. that day. Mayor Bob Gallagher, city and library officials, city and library staff were in attendance.

The upstairs meeting rooms are available; contact Gina Barrett at 563-344-4177 for meeting room information. 

The 24/7 book return is up and running and happy to take your returns, any time of day or night.

Notary services and proctoring are available again as of Monday, November 7.

The drop-off window is open again as of Monday, November 7.

The Friends of the Bettendorf Public Library are accepting book and magazine donations.

The Iowa Department of Transportation's Driver's License kiosk is available on the first floor of the Library.
