Funds are raised through an annual membership drive, two Book Fairs each year, collection of used books and magazines for re-sale, owning
and operating a copier for Library patrons, and an annual Holiday Bazaar.
Meetings are held monthly at the Library, September through June, on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:15 p.m.

The Friends Holiday Bazaar is just around the corner. Mark your calendars to come shopping on Saturday, November 3, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Each year vendors provide a wide variety of handmade and pre-packaged products such as holiday gifts, jewelry, floral arrangements, crossstitched items, pillows, candles and various scented items, packaged edible mixes, beauty products, fleece blankets, and different types of decorative pieces. If you're the creative type, or
have special products you'd like to offer our shoppers, it's not too late to sign up to be a vendor. For more information, call 563-344-4177.
The Friends ongoing magazine sale is looking for your gently used magazines. Donated magazines are sold for only 20¢ and provide a new home for magazines you no longer wish to keep. All donations of books and magazines may be deposited during Library hours in the bins in the Friends area near the entrance to Dewey’s Café.
The Friends meet the first Tuesday of each month from September through June, at 7:00 p.m. in the Library. You don't have to be a member to attend. Attend a meeting and see what the Friends do to support the Library.
