The Bettendorf Public Library Information Center, because
it honors other library cards, has eliminated non resident fee
cards. Non residents may not purchase full service by paying
a fee.
All patrons using the Bettendorf Public Library Information
Center must abide by its rules and regulations.
The Bettendorf Public Library Information Center has the right
to cancel any individual's borrowing privileges because of abuse
of the library's rules and regulations.
A valid library card must be presented in order to borrow
materials excluding checkout of A/V equipment for in-house use
and unless the patron is a non resident as described in the
second paragraph of this policy.
Non residents are welcome to attend library sponsored programs.
However, programs which require registration are usually limited
to a small audience and may not be able to accommodate both
Bettendorf residents and non residents. In those cases, the
library shall limit the first day of registration to Bettendorf
residents; thereby granting them first priority. There after,
registration shall be open to residents and non residents alike.
