My Life in Dog Years by Gary Paulsen

This book deserves 4 stars.

My life in Dog Years was a fun and short read. It was short and fairly easy, but very funny and interesting. The author didn’t make the chapters go too long or explain too much, and each chapter made me love the dog it was about. I found myself telling some of the funny parts to my family and it made them laugh too. I took one star off because it was sometimes written like Gary Paulson was talking which seemed too easy in some parts.
