I like Melee the best. Brawl seems too dumbed down since they removed L-canceling (allowed you to recover from an arial attack faster by pressing one of the shoulder buttons in Melee and the Z button in the original) and made the characters overall more “floaty,” which only makes games slower. Brawl also seems to have too many defensive options now with the ability to airdodge continuously and shielding being difficult to punish. I really liked the original too, so my order would go Melee, 64, Brawl.
