Super Smash Bros brawlSuper Smash Bros Brawl Tournament
Saturday May 17th (1:00 - 4:00pm)
Upstairs in the Bettendorf Room

Free Play/Registration Starts @ 1:00
Registration Ends @ 1:30
Tournament begins @ 1:45

We will be doing things differently this month. We are requiring registration and will have qualifying rounds.

First off , I will provide 4 gamecube controllers for all matches. If you need another set up feel free to bring your own. If you are bringing your own controller set up please inform us before the match starts (so we can register it with the system) and please label your controllers with your name. We are not responsible for your controllers.

As I mentioned before, the registrants will participate in three qualifying rounds. The matches will be standard 4 player matches, with 3 stock lives and with all items on medium. Players will be given points based on how they finish (40 for 1st place, 30 for 2nd place and so forth).

After the qualifying rounds the 24 participants with the most points will move onto the tournament. The tournament will be 1 on 1, with 3 stock lives and just the Smash Ball on high.

There will only be one tournament. However we will have FREE PLAY on Mario Kart Wii. I will have 4 wiimote/nunchuk for Mario Kart. Please do not bring anymore wiimotes for the game. If you need to bring a wii wheel please label it as your own.

While I will allow last minute registrants on the day of the tournament I would prefer if you preregister on the form below:

Online Registration is now closed

You can still register at the event.

    Ryan,

Actually the Gamenym spot is for your cool nickname, such as IceClimbersRule! or what have you.

Just out of curiosity, how were you able to seed the opening matches so that players from the same crew didn’t wind up together? I would hate to get eliminated in round one because I had to face different out of state crews back to back
