Burst Angel follows the exploits of Jo, Sei, Amy, and Meg as they try to survive in an apocalyptic Tokyo where everyone carries guns and uses them with lethal force. There seems to be plenty of action in this one so DON”T MISS IT!

This Thursday is our first monthly Nerdposium. Come gather with us to chow down on free food and talk about all things nerd related. This week will be snacking on Skittles and discussing the implications of the Skittles “Touch” commercial (embedded below). For those unfamiliar with the ad it is about a person afflicted with a midas touch, except instead of turning things into gold everything he touches turns to skittles. We’ll be focusing on the implications of this power, whether it is a curse or a boon and looking at other books that deal with the midas touch theme. Pretty sweet.

Stitch N KitschThis is the first Stitch n Kitsch ever! This week we will explore the world of papercraft. So come on join the fun! The Internet has helped spread the intricate craft of folding paper into three dimensional sculptures, and now it’s the library’s turn. We’ll have loads of designs to pick from, and we will even supply the glue. What you need to bring is your incredible folding skills and and a bit of fun!
