Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Bettendorf Public Library! We welcome volunteer applications from people aged 14 and up. Questions? Please contact our volunteer coordinator by email or by calling 563-344-4187.
Volunteer opportunities may include helping staff with shelving, collection maintenance - even programs! If you're interested, please fill out a volunteer application and submit it to our volunteer coordinator.
The Teen Leadership Committee is a group of teen volunteers ages 14 and up who want to make the library an awesome place for teens. They work with the young adult librarian to plan events and programs just for teenagers. There are monthly meetings to brainstorm new ideas and finalize plans.
By joining the TLC you'll get experience with teamwork, leadership, project planning, and motivating others. TLC is the way you can make the library better for teens! Plus we can provide reference letters for a job or college for active members. Contact the young adult librarian for more information.
One hallmark of a learning community is the free sharing of ideas, creativity, and opportunities. BPL staff are passionate about promoting the expansive array of resources and events that add value and richness to our visitors’ lives in their quest for life-long learning. We believe others will be just as excited about what is going on at the Library!
