Library Meeting Rooms
The Bettendorf Public Library offers free small-group meeting spaces on the first floor and public meeting rooms for rent on the second floor. Most meeting rooms offer audiovisual equipment, white boards, and other amenities to support meeting activities and community presentations. All meeting spaces are subject to the terms of use outlined in the Library’s Meeting Room Policy.
Public meeting rooms are not available for use for:
- Private personal parties or events
- Commercial activities such as selling merchandise, soliciting sales, placing orders, or exchanging monies

Free, Small-Group Meeting Spaces:
Study Rooms
- 10 available
- First come, first serve
- Time limits may be imposed based on demand
- Capacity: 1-2 people
- Fee: Free
Conference Rooms
- RDA Conference Room (Capacity of 8)
- SCRA Conference Room (Capacity of 4)
- Reservable two business days in advance, over the phone or in person
- Fee: Free
Large Meeting Spaces for Rent:
Elizabeth Malmros Conference Room
- Reservable 90 days in advance online or by phone
- Capacity: 18 people (though best for groups of 10 or smaller)
- Fee: $10 for nonprofit groups; $60 per hour for for-profit groups
- Video conferencing
- White board
Bettendorf Single Room, Gilbert Room, and Lillienthal Room
- Reservable 90 days in advance online or by phone
- Capacity: 30 people
- Fee: $10 for nonprofit groups; $60 per hour for for-profit groups

Bettendorf and Gilbert Rooms, Gilbert and Lillienthal Rooms
- Two single rooms combined to accommodate larger groups
- Reservable 90 days in advance online or by phone
- Capacity: 60 people
- Fee: $20 for nonprofit groups; $120 per hour for for-profit groups

Set-up/tear-down service is available for large meeting spaces for a fee. It is recommended to request this service at the time of reservation.
Reserve a Public Meeting Space
With the exception of the first-floor conference and study rooms, all public meeting spaces can be reserved up to 90 days in advance through the library’s online booking system or by calling 563-344-4175.
To reserve a meeting room, users will be required to enter their name, contact information, group name, and expected number of attendees. Individuals reserving the meeting room(s) are responsible for reading and agreeing to the terms of the library’s meeting room policy. Violations of this policy may result in loss of future reservations and/or additional charges for damages.
Once we receive your online booking request, library staff will review it and send email confirmation of approval. Payment for confirmed room bookings may be made at any point prior to the meeting.
