Global Gathering

Global Gathering is a biennial event that is a two-month celebration of the culture, heritage, and traditions of a selected country or region in the world.

Throughout September and October 2025, the Bettendorf Public Library will feature programs and activities related to Vietnam and its people. There will be displays of objects and art throughout the Library, as well as new library items available for checkout.

Our purpose is not only to enhance knowledge and understanding about Vietnam, but to respect and appreciate the diversity that our neighbors with Vietnamese roots bring to the community.
