Join us for a 45 minute performance by Tobin Kirk!
Tobin is a journeyman songwriter and musician with a story that has given him plenty to write and sing about. After moderate success as a founding member of indie power pop band the Red Hot Valentines, including national touring, and songs placed in TV, commercials, and video games, he relocated to Nashville to focus on songwriting. But life happens, and fatherhood ultimately brought him to the QC area.
He put music aside for nearly a decade before life gave him... too much inspiration to ignore. He has released a pair of new studio albums in the last few years, as well as a live album recorded during a stint of performances in the Netherlands. His writing has not slowed down, and the last few years have been some of the most creatively productive of his entire career.
Feel free to pack a lunch to enjoy during the performance. Coffee and water are supplied.
Funding for Brown Bag Lunch performances is provided by the Friends of the Bettendorf Public Library.
